Akerlei Centro de Formación was established in 1995 and has been successfully running Language courses at all levels and for all ages since then.  We have a wide range of daytime and evening language courses, one to one lessons and courses specially tailored to the language training needs of businesses. Our well qualified, experienced and friendly teachers give the students individual attention and the opportunity to study in small groups in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Akerlei provides a very supportive, positive and vibrant environment in which teachers can develop a wide range of skills that will enhance career development, whilst experiencing exciting opportunities to make a positive impact on the school and the students.  Teachers will have the opportunity to get involved in the use of new technologies in the language classroom such as smartboards and get hands on the use of web 2.0 for language teaching. Our classrooms are well equipped, some with interactive smartboards, and have computer and internet access.

Akerlei is located in Ermua, in the eastern end of Bizkaia, bordering the province of Gipuzkoa, just 2.5 km from Eibar. Protected by Urko and Ureta mountains, Ermua forms a multi-color landscape, with rough and profound valleys compressed between steep foothills that will shock the visitor. Another natural feature of Ermua is its mountains that despite their little altitude appear magnificent due to their proximity.  It lies 42 km from Bilbao and 67 km from San Sebastian. The transport facilities are excellent with bus and train routes regularly servicing Bilbao, (30 minutes away) and San Sebastian,  (45 minutes away) and several beaches on the coast of Gipuzkoa and Bizkaia.
