Alce Idiomas (The Asturias Language College) is a totally private school founded in 1983 and since our establishment we have always been committed to the highest academic standards in language teaching. We are situated in a residential area, close to the biggest university campus, within five minutes walk of the city centre, and just opposite the outstanding convention and shopping centres designed by the internationally renowned architect Santiago Calatrava.
Besides our offices and class-rooms equipped with TV, CD/DVD players, etc., we have a multi media training room which the students can use for free access to the internet and extra practice. The school is also Wi-Fi accessible.
We also offer ENGLISH, FRENCH, GERMAN and RUSSIAN courses. We organise linguistic and cultural exchange programmes, courses and stays abroad.
Job Information
Alce Idiomas caters for students of all ages from children (age 5+) to adults. As well as learning general English, students are prepared for Cambridge University exams including Young Learners, KET, PET, FCE, CAE and CPE.
All our teachers are university graduates with wide experience in teaching. Their main objective is to help and assist our students to achieve success in the language they have chosen to learn, in a professional and friendly environment. Their lessons are interesting dynamic and motivating. The school principal, our academic and administration team are always available to advise and guide our students.
