With 130 years of experience, more than 450 centers in over 60 countries Berlitz is one of the oldest and largest language service providers in the world. The Berlitz Method is based on a communicative teaching approach and is constantly enhanced with new and updated programs and the latest learning technology. Our unique method means that our instructors do not need a TEFL or CELTA as Berlitz will provide them with all the training and support necessary to become a professional and successful instructor. Classes are given both in our language centres and also in companies in and around the city. Generally, class sizes are from 1 to 6 students (with occasional exceptions) and we have a very broad range of learner profiles.
Job Information
We normally hire teachers one of a range of ‘fixed-discontinous’ contracts which usually run from September/October to June/July. We have a variety of contracts with differing hours to cater for the needs of both teachers and schools. The contracts offer the security of a fixed monthly income along with holiday pay.
Requirements
All teachers need to be educated to degree level and be EU citizens. We don’t require a TEFL or CELTA as training will be provided.
