We are a privately owned language school which has been providing English language tuition here in Jerez de la Frontera since 1984. The school is in the heart of the old centre of the city and used to be a radio station before being transformed into modern, fully air-conditioned premises.
The school has six classrooms, all equipped with eBeams, reception, staff room fully stocked with teaching resources and WiFi connection throughout the premises. We also offer off-site tution at local schools and businesses both in Jerez and nearby Puerto de Santa María.
Job Information
We are looking for experienced and professional teachers to become part of our team in Jerez de la Frontera. We offer a range of courses from VYL to Proficiency so we are looking to employ teachers who are flexible and enjoy teaching a diverse range of levels and ages. As a Cambridge Platinum Centre our teaching is geared towards preparing our students for Cambridge exams (YLE/KET/PET/FCE/CAE/CPE). We also teach a range of intensive 3-month courses for students who wish to prepare for B1, B2 and C1 Cambridge exams.
We offer a competitive package with full social security cover. Contracts are from mid -September to the end of June with the possibility of an extension in July. A full-time contract consists of 22 contact hours per week. Teachers are also responsible for class preparation, exam correction, termly report writing and liasing with parents. We are dedicated to the professional development of our staff and we hold monthly meetings and teacher development sessions.
Long term staff have the opportunity to train as Speaking Test Examiners and Invigilators for Cambrdige exams. This provides excellent training and experience as well as giving teachers the opportunity to earn extra money.
Requirements
Successful candidates will…
be Cambridge CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL qualified
have a degree
be native speakers of English
