Britannia is a private language school located in the southern Spanish town of Lebrija. We teach English to all ages – from 3 years old to adults in groups of maximum 12 pupils – in fun, dynamic, student-centered classes.

We prepare students for Trinity examinations at all levels (Primary, teens and adult examinations). Everything you will need to teach is provided by our language school. Staff trainings are conducted at the end of September (in the language school) and November (in Seville). Our Classes start in October and they finish at the end of June.

We are looking for teachers who plan their classes carefully and take interest in the progress of their students.

Qualifications

All new teachers will require an up-to-date criminal records background check.

All teachers have to be a EU citizen or resident or have a working visa.

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to teach young children, teenagers and adults.

If  you have a university degree, a 4-week CELTA certificate or Trinity CertTESOL and good communication skills (especially with young learners), we may have a post for you. Some experience in exam preparation (Trinity or Cambridge) is an advantage.

Professional skills: the teacher we are looking for must be  very competent of understanding and using English grammar,  plan their classes carefully and take a great interest in the progress of their students.  The applicant must be punctual and organised, with a great ability to motivate our students and follow objectives.  Young learner teaching certificates is an advantage.

Personal Skills: team player, organised, punctual creative and friendly.

Conditions

We offer you a contract from October to the end of June (paid holidays), from Mondays to Thursdays, with a fixed salary, calculated according to qualifications, experience and working hours.

The teaching timetables are  24 – 26 hours a week, most of them in afternoon / evening blocks (16.00h – 22.00h) from Monday to Thursday.

Weekly staff meetings with team leaders.

1 Friday per month for staff and parent meetings (2 hour session)

Groups: mainly children and teenagers with a maximum of 12 students.

We also offer you training courses, help and support opening a bank account,  getting the Spanish ID for foreigners (NIE) and we help you to find a flat within 5 minutes walk from our language school and right in the city centre (next to bars, shops, gyms, banks, etc.). You would have the possibility of working in a professional and supportive atmosphere in our language school.
