Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Business Studies at both IGCSE and A Level, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in inspiring and preparing our students for their academic and professional futures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IGCSE and A Level Business Studies in accordance with the British curriculum.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that cater to a range of learning styles.
  • Prepare students for IGCSE and A Level examinations, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Contribute to the development of the Business Studies curriculum and resources.
  • Provide support and guidance to students in their academic and career aspirations.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, promoting a well-rounded educational experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive and collegial teaching environment.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A relevant degree in Business Studies or a related field.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching IGCSE and A Level Business Studies.
  • A thorough understanding of the British curriculum and assessment standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of educational best practices.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Previous experience in an international or British school setting is highly desirable.
