Candidates should be teachers with native-level English with a recognised TEFL qualification and university degree. A year teaching experience at least is necessary and experience of the Cambridge exams is valued. All applicants must be European citizens or hold a valid European work permit. Face-to-face interviews preferred in all cases.
The successful candidate will need to obtain an International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) or equivalent from their country of origin and a Spanish “certificado de penales”
Salary & Benefits
_ Legal contract according to Spanish law.
_ 9-month contract from 10 September to 23 June
_ 20-24 hours a week. Block hours. All weekends free. Class preparation, teachers´ meetings and teacher training bring the full -time contract up to 34 hours per week.
_ Holidays depend on the Spanish official school calendar and local bank holidays.
_ Apart from Christmas, Easter and the national and local bank holidays, teachers are entitled to a few days holidays.
_ Wage according to experience. Minimum wage 1020,00 € for 22 hours. Taxes and Social Security deducted according to Spanish Law.
_ Full health and insurance cover (Spanish NHS).
