Founded in 1979, El Centro Británico is a distinguished English language academy conveniently situated in the heart of Santiago de Compostela. Over the years, we’ve grown and expanded, establishing additional locations in the neighboring suburbs of Milladoiro and Bertamirans. As proud members of FECEI and a Cambridge English examining centre, we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality language courses and exam preparation.
At El Centro Británico, we place a strong emphasis on professional development and continuous learning for all our staff members. As part of our commitment to teacher training, we are also a CELTA centre. In 2016, we became a part of the prestigious IH World network of schools.
We’re constantly innovating and pushing the boundaries of language education. For instance, we’re at the forefront of Hybrid teaching in the language classroom, providing our students with the flexibility to attend classes either in-person or virtually without compromising our high standards of instruction.
In terms of English language courses, we offer a comprehensive range of programmes from baby English to adult learners, catering to all levels from Beginner to Proficiency.
