We are recruiting a keen professional teacher to integrate into a dedicated team. Working at either our Martos centre or between our Jaén and Martos centre.

The initial contract will commence on 17th September 2025 until the 18th June 2026. Work is available in July for a teacher with proven exam preparation experience.

The starting salary is  between 1310 to 1370  gross euros monthly, depending on experience and qualifications. 21 contact teaching hours, weekly.

All class groups are of a respectable size from 8-13 students. The students age from 6 to adult. The focus of the teaching is predominately towards the Cambridge Main Suite B1 / B2 / C1 / C2 exams. The 2 centres have modern air-conditioned premises which are fully equipped with computers, internet access, interactive whiteboards and projectors.

Seahaven was established in 1996 in Martos and in 2010 in Jaén capital. Both centres have a very strong local and provincial reputation for quality English tuition. Seahaven is a member of ACEIA and FECEI and it is a Cambridge Exam Preparation Centre.

Qualifications

  • C1/C2 Certified English.
  • EFL qualification (CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL or TEFL level 5).
  • TIE or visa enabling you to work in Spain legally.
  • B1 level Spanish.

We view positively

–              A university degree or higher education qualification.

–              A minimum of 1 year teaching experience in a language school environment.

–              Experience of teaching a range of ages and levels.

–              Cambridge English main suite exam preparation experience.

–              Valid Driving Licence and/or own transport.

Conditions

  • Max 21 contact teaching hours weekly.
  • Monday – Thursday afternoons. Approx. 15.45 – 21.30 (No Fridays).
  • Weekly preparation/training morning included in contract.
  • Paid induction morning.
  • Contract + Social Security 17/09/25 – 18/06/26.
  • Paid Christmas/Easter holidays.
  • 1310 to 1370€ monthly gross (depending on experience and qualifications) fully compliant with existing legislation.
