MoonEnglish, an established academy in a residential area of Cáceres, is currently hiring EFL teachers for the 2025-26 academic year. There are two centres: one for teens and one for children aged 4 to 11. All students prepare for Cambridge Exams, from Young Learners to Advanced.
Our teachers can choose to focus on young learners (ages 4-7), upper primary (ages 8-11) or teens, which makes this an ideal opportunity if you are looking to develop your skills with a specific age group.
Initial training is provided at the start of the course, with professional development sessions and support from the DoS throughout the year. There are numerous opportunities to gain experience and training regarding Cambridge exam preparation.
Our staff room environment is friendly and collaborative and our teachers often look to each other for ideas and support. There are weekly meetings/professional development sessions that allow time to work together and share ideas.
Teachers have access to a wide variety of resources (text and reference books, multimedia material, flashcards, arts and crafts supplies, toys and games etc) as well as laptops, televisions and whiteboards in every classroom.
Class size is 8 to 11 students and every group follows a textbook. However, teachers are encouraged to contribute their own ideas and material and have the freedom to develop lessons according to their unique teaching style and the individual needs of each group of students.
