We are looking for a native level teacher to join the team at our academy in Molina de Segura, south east Spain. We are a small, supportive team, regularly sharing ideas and resources. Our teachers work with students of all ages and levels, following coursebooks and using additional materials to motivate our students through engaging and fun classes. Our maximum class size is 12 students (8 for young children). All of our classrooms have computers, internet access and whiteboards.
Qualifications
- Native English speaker competence (C2)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, including preparation of Cambridge exams.
- TEFL qualification (e.g. Trinity CertTESOL)
- University degree, preferably in languages or teaching.
- EU national or valid work permit.
- A working knowledge of Spanish, to enable communication with students’ parents and write termly reports.
Conditions
- Our current vacancy is for a native-level teacher to work Monday to Thursday evenings from 16:30 to 21:30, in addition to two mornings in the academy for class preparation and other administrative duties.
- The initial contract will be for 25 hours (20 contact hours) and will run from 17th September 2025 to 30th June 2026.
- The successful candidate will have experience in preparing students for Cambridge exams from A2 to C1 and will have access to our wide range of supplementary materials including practice exams.
- For this vacancy experience with young learners (from four years of age) is essential, including the use of crafts and games to make the classes as dynamic as possible. Our dedicated children’s classroom has toys, games and books available for this purpose.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary for 9.5 month contract (25 hours per week).
