Qualifications
Star Engish teachers are proficient English speakers and lessons are given entirely in English.
The emphasis in the classes is on speaking and listening skills.
Personal attention to students is an important feature of our classes.
Teachers are required to prepare students for the Cambridge exams, Starters, Movers KET, PET as well as the upper main suite exams FCE, CAE and CPE.
Conditions
The vacancy is to teach all ages and levels from five upwards from 1st September 2025 to June 30th 2026, renewable by mutual agreement. We offer a 34 -hour contract with a maximum of 25 hours’ teaching per week. There are four weeks’ paid holiday, 2 weeks’ at Christmas and 2 weeks’ at Easter.
Requirements
3 year’s teaching experience
A degree, preferably in the field of languages
A CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL certificate
NIE or European passport
