We have different posts available which involve teaching young learners, Cambridge exam classes to both teens and adults, and/ or arts and craft classes.
Position 1: Senior teacher – Immediate start!
For this position we are looking for an experienced teacher who has at least three years teaching experience teaching a mix of young learner classes and is confident teaching all Cambridge Exams (A2-C2).
Are you interested in holding a position of more responsibility? This post could evolve into a Coordinator position in the upcoming school year.
Position 2: Supply teacher
We have two teachers who will be needing cover this academic year. Do you love teaching young learners? Do you have Experience teaching Cambridge exams (B1 & B2). If so, please get in touch and we can discuss these positions.
We also run Art Classes and Storytelling sessions at our English Bookstore on Fridays and Saturdays, so if you are interested in teaching or assisting these sessions please let us know!
Qualifications

What kind of qualifications and experience do you need to work with us?
-English at a Proficiency level
-EU national/valid Spanish work permit.
-University degree or higher education qualification.
-CELTA/DELTA/Trinity CertTESOL qualification or similar which includes classroom teaching experience.
-Previous teaching experience in a similar context including experience teaching Cambridge exams
-B1 level of Spanish
-International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC for UK Nationals) and a Spanish “certificado de penales”
-Working IT skills
-At least 2 satisfactory references
NB: Storytellers and Art teachers do not require CELTA training!
Conditions
You will be given a legal contract in accordance with Spanish law. The contract covers teaching hours, teacher development meetings, and planning time. Most teaching work is in the afternoon and evenings Monday through Friday.
Teaching hours for these positions will depend on candidate’s experience and interests.
