We’re seeking two enthusiastic English teachers to join our team at Akerlei Language School, located in Ermua, Basque Country, starting September 2025.
What We Offer:
- Full-time contract for the 2025-26 academic year, with renewal potential.
- 25-hour teaching week, Monday to Friday, with flexible shifts.
- Small classes (up to 12 students).

Important Note:
We can only consider EU citizens or those with a valid EU work permit. Unfortunately, obtaining a permit can take months, meaning the school year may already begin before finalization.

Qualifications
- Degree + teaching qualification (e.g. Trinity CertTESOL)
- 1+ year of teaching experience (General English, Adults, Young Learners, Business English).
- Bonus: Experience with Cambridge exams or teaching preschoolers.
Conditions
The average teaching week is 25 hours, Monday to Friday, excluding preparation, administrative tasks, and staff meetings. Most classes are in the afternoon or evening, with some in the morning.
