At La Casita de Inglés, we believe learning should be fun! We teach English to kids using activities like games, arts and crafts, singing, dancing, theatre, yoga, and baking. Most of the planning is done for you—teachers just need to adapt a few ideas based on the weekly theme (such as outer space, sports, science, food, mindfulness, music, or nature) for their group. We don’t give exams, and the only paperwork is a progress report every trimester. Classes are small and interactive, with a maximum of 8 children (though this can occasionally rise to 10 if students need to make up a class).

Qualifications

What we’re looking for: Fun, creative, and enthusiastic teachers who love working with kids. You’ll need at least six months of experience teaching or working with children in a professional setting (not just babysitting or nannying), and excellent pronunciation or a C2-level English certificate.

Conditions

You don’t have to work every day, but we prefer a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week. There are also opportunities to work at our camps and workshops throughout the year, with great potential for growth in the company—whether in managerial roles, leading workshops based on your hobbies or talents, or even joining our central office team.
