We are looking for a Language Assistant / Teacher

– preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities;
– developing lessons plans and lectures;
– Preparing students for Cambridge exams.
– helping students understand this material and prepare them for advanced courses in this subject;
– marking work, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of pupils’ progress and development;
– researching new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, and devising and writing new curriculum materials;
– selecting and using a range of different learning resources and equipment, including podcasts and interactive whiteboards

12-18 hours per week depending on the post. Please be aware that the number of hours can vary depending on the school, this will be confirmed in the contract when a timetable will be provided to you.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a university degree along with a CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL/TEFL/Young Learners Certificate, and preferably a minimum of one year of teaching experience.
Foreign candidates of all nationalities are required to have a Spanish residence permit (N.I.E.). For European Union nationals this simply means applying for residence on arrival in Madrid. Applicants from non-European Union countries will only be granted interviews if they are already in possession of a valid Spanish residence permit/work permit.
