We are the latest addition to St James opened in May 2017, with student numbers growing since then.

Our students are from three year olds to adults and come from Almonte or the surrounding towns.

We follow the same curriculum and activity programme as St James which includes CLIL and general English.

There are also Halloween and Christmas parties for the younger learners and other social events.

All our classrooms are bright, modern and clean and equipped with computer, projector, audio, internet and interactive whiteboards or touch screens.

Being in a town creates a really nice family atmosphere and most of the students and parents tend to know each other.

Accommodation in Almonte or the surrounding towns is considerably cheaper than living in Seville and you have beautiful countryside on your doorstep, including the Doñana National Park, and the beach 15 minutes away.

Qualifications

We are looking for one teacher to join our existing team teaching children, teenagers and adults.

Teachers at St James Almonte attend the excellent training programme at the main centre with all the other St James teachers, on average once or twice a month.

We also have regular meetings at our centre to share ideas and help each other with planning.

Contracts are from early September until late June with paid holidays at Christmas and Semana Santa and accrued holiday pay paid on completion of the contract.

Conditions

CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL teaching certificate with at least one year’s experience teaching young learners.

We are looking for a friendly and professional teacher who wants to work in a small team and has a genuine interest in teaching and developing their skills.
