Star English Academy

Founded in 1989 by James Kelly and Caroline Nixon (of Kid’s Box and Power Up fame), Star English has two locations. The first academy is in the town of El Palmar (approximately eight kilometres outside Murcia City) and the second in Murcia city centre itself.

El Palmartown hosts the main University teaching hospital the ‘Arrixaca’ so there are frequent buses to and fro m the city centre. It is located in the foothills of the Regional park Sierra de Carrascoy and is only a half-hour drive to the beach. The Murcia Academy is located in the city centre with easy connections to bus routes and motorways.

You can visit the school at and take a virtual tour on Google maps.
