We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated professional with a passion for teaching to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. The role requires 22 teaching hours per week, working with children, teenagers, and adults from A1 to C1 levels.
Thompson English Academy is located in Sanlúcar la Mayor, about 20 km from Seville. Our students range from three-year-olds to adults and come from Sanlúcar la mayor or the surrounding towns. We are currently looking for a dynamic, dependable teacher to start in September.

Qualifications
We need you to have:
- Valid work permit / EU citizen.
- CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL or other equivalent TEFL teaching qualification.
- YL teaching certificates is an advantage (e.g. Trinity CertPT).
- Professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
- Good organizational and planning skills and the interest to develop as a teacher.
- Ability to work with young learners, teenagers, and adults.
- Basic IT skills.
- Experience with the Cambridge official examinations.
Since this position involves working with children, teachers will be required to provide proof that they can work with minors by obtaining an International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) or equivalent from their country of origin and a Spanish “certificado de penales”.
Conditions
Your Role
- To teach general English to children, teenagers, and adults from A1 to C1 levels and ensuring the students attain the necessary level of English to successfully pass their internal and external exams.
- To plan effective lessons.
- To attend training sessions.
- To provide feedback on students’ performance through written reports and parent meetings.
Teaching hours:
- Monday – Thursday 16.00-21.30
