Padington School is a small school in the city of Huelva, Andalucía. It is a family run business and has a team of 7 people. Founded in 2008, it has grown in students year after year, mostly through word of mouth, and is a well established English School in Huelva.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys teaching, especially children as the bulk of our students are young learners, and who is friendly, creative and organized. Experience with the Cambridge syllabus is also helpful.

It is essential that applicants have a NIE or are EU citizens. It is also important that you have basic Spanish as this will help with classroom management.


Applicants a required to have any or all of the following:

  • A University Degree – ideally language related.
  • TEFL/Delta certificate (e.g. Trinity CertTESOL)
  • Experience teaching young learners and adults.
  • NIE or EU passport.



Teachers will be required to teach mostly in the afternoon from 4pm to 8.30pm from Monday to Thursday, although some classes may be in the morning.

Hours:  18-21 hours/week.

Contract duration: 9 months (September to June)

Paid holidays at Easter, Christmas and bank holidays.


Salary & Benefits

Salary is dependent on the amount of experience the applicant has and will be discussed in the interview. However, the salary for new teachers would be the following:

Starting Salary: 1134€/month/gross (based on 21 hour/week)
