Founded in 2006, TAKE ENGLISH is a registered Trinity College examination centre and authorised University of Cambridge preparation centre located in the east of the city of Seville, in a lively neighbourhood 2 minutes walk from the metro line which will connect you with the city centre in 5-6 minutes (alternatively there are options to travel easily by bus or with the city’s public bike network).
In 2 centres, we have a fantastic team of 14 teachers and administrative staff, and we pride ourselves on our great working atmosphere and our many students whom all our teachers say are so much fun to teach!
For the coming academic year 2024/25, we are excited to be able to offer 2 full time opportunities in which you’ll teach English to children, teenagers and adults using a practical approach focussed on developing our students’ skills and helping them gain confidence listening to and speaking English through the use of games, music and creative activities.
Qualifications
Two English teacher vacancies in the city of Seville, for children, teenagers and adults. Classes should be dynamic and fun. The academy is very well communicated with the rest of the city by metro, bus and bike. Comfortable and well paid work. Only from Monday to Thursday, only in the afternoons, lots of holidays during the course. We work for the quality of teaching, so we ONLY want people with a vocation for teaching and who want to become better teachers.
Conditions
– Trinity CertTESOL certificate or Cambridge CELTA
– Native level skills, fluency and accent
– One year’s experience teaching young learners and/or teenagers

The job consists of giving classes to students in a group, with a maximum of 10 students. The classes should always be dynamic and fun, where there are always games or activities that are fun and attractive for the students. All students use a textbook and activity book, and all the teachers have all the teacher’s material which greatly facilitates the preparation of the classes. Teachers can prepare the lessons at home and are not obliged to come to the school in the morning for that. In addition, they have a good number of non-teaching hours in their contract, depending on each case.
The most important principle of Take English is our concern for the quality of our teaching. To this end, we consider training and observation practices to be fundamental: we hold several training sessions throughout the course (always in working days), as well as peer observation + feedback sessions, which help us a great deal to learn and progress from our mistakes and virtues.
Salary & Benefits
– Contract options of 22-23 contact hours (+ non contact hours) per week (not inc. optional extras)
– 22 contact hours contract = (pro rata of 22 hrs) 1,300 euros gross
– Teachers who stay on for a second and others courses will receive increments in salary.
– Contract from mid-September 2024 to end of June 2024 inc. general health coverage.
– We enjoy lots of holidays, they all paid, at Christmas, Easter, Feria, local, regional, national bank holidays and gained holidays on end of course.
– We also help in finding accommodation in the town.
