We are urgently hiring a qualified, motivated and passionate English teacher to join our team in our VILLAMANRIQUE DE LA CONDESA location for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year (with the possibility of staying on for the following year). Please send your CV and a cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
The British School operates its flagship location in Castilleja de la Cuesta, a friendly and bustling town of 17,000 inhabitants located just 6 km west of Seville. Castilleja is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Apart from the Castilleja location, The British School also runs three language schools in Sanlúcar la Mayor and one in Villamanrique de la Condesa, two small, welcoming villages located 18 km and 43 km to the west of Seville, respectively. We deeply value our role in these close-knit communities where we operate, and our teachers relish in the opportunity to form part of not just the fantastic staff, but also the very fabric of village life. In fact, it’s not uncommon for teachers to find themselves with an entire family as their students!
The British School is firmly committed to offering the highest quality of education by means of a dynamic, interactive and communicative approach to language learning. We believe that a student learns best when motivated by positive reinforcement and inspired by the personalized challenges and goals that our teachers set for them. In order to guarantee a positive and productive learning experience, we rely on a carefully selected staff of highly qualified, creative, motivated and dedicated teachers. They are adept at working in a team, while also allowing their unique personalities and talents to make every classroom a truly special learning environment for the students.
Our staff understands that teaching languages carries responsibilities that go beyond the four walls of the classroom; more than a job, it is a calling. Teachers will take part in seasonal parties (Halloween, Christmas, Easter/Spring, End-of-year), and attend monthly meetings in order to actively participate in important decision-making processes as well as the development of ideas about methodology, events, activities or any other aspect regarding the school’s operations. And because our teachers are also learners, they will also attend teacher training conferences and workshops.

Apart from this, teachers will be responsible for organizing their classes appropriately according to age and level, and they will be expected to write student evaluations three times a year.
