The British Centre of Melilla has been established since 1998 and its modern purpose-built premises are situated just a minute from the beach and a short walk to the town centre. The school is British owned and has an excellent reputation within Melilla for its quality and professionalism. Our team of teachers are all native speakers with a variety of backgrounds and experiences. While they are with us they receive in-house training sessions and workshops. As employers we take great care of our teachers and both on-going professional and personal support is given throughout the contract. Working for the British Centre allows teachers to have the experience of being in a unique location, Melilla being a small Spanish enclave on the North African coast surrounded by Morocco.
At the Centre we teach English to children from the age of three along with teenagers and adults from total beginners to advanced level. The emphasis is on communicative methodology and cultural awareness. Classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards. Students work towards taking a Trinity College GESE or ISE exam for which they are fully prepared and for which the Centre has an outstanding pass rate.
We also offer tailor made courses which are on offer both at the centre and in-company.
