At IC we not only pride ourselves on providing the best possible service for our students, but also on helping our teachers become the best they can be. IC is owned and run by teachers who still teach every week, because we believe it is essential to stay close to the classroom and understand the realities our teachers face.

We are located in Bilbao, one of the largest cities in the north of Spain. Although just a short metro ride from the seaside, it has the feel of a small capital city. The Basque Country enjoys a slightly cooler climate than the 40ºC+ temperatures of the south, but we still enjoy long summers of a more comfortable 30ºC+, as well as enough rain to give us our beautiful green landscapes. Bilbao is home to the world‑famous Guggenheim Museum and boasts some of the finest cuisine in Spain. There are also good train and plane connections to major European cities as well as other parts of Spain. If you like good food, friendly people, mountains and the seaside, Bilbao might be the place for you.

Who do we teach?

Business professionals (in‑company groups and 1:1 classes)

We offer small groups (maximum 10–12 students) and private one‑to‑one lessons, with both face‑to‑face and online options from our two centres in Bilbao.

We also run intensive courses at different times of the year and in‑company classes for local businesses.
We employ a mixture of new as well as experienced teachers

We have no preference for Native or Non-native speakers as long as your English level is C2
