Andujar is a fast growing town of 40,000 inhabitants within easy travelling distance of Cordoba, Jaen and Granada. It is a safe, friendly town set in the beautiful Sierra Morena mountain region with a national park, reservoirs, ideal walking country.
Although little of the old town remains, the town dates back to prehistoric times and has been greatly influenced by the many civilizations which have passed through it. The town still preserves its typical Spanish identity with a strong influence on eating out.
You can find most of the shops and facilities of any European town (all within easy walking distance) and also more modern amenities such as a hypermarket, multicinema, a Moorish baths and an urban spa.
