El Centro de Inglés Idiomas Bailen is a professional language school dedicated to quality teaching and teacher development, located in Bailen, in the province of Jaen, south-eastern Spain.

The school opened in September 2007.  We teach English to children (from 4 years), teenagers and adults from total beginners to advanced level.  A large percentage of our students are young learners. We have a large demand for B1 and B2  amongst our adult students. We prepare students for all the Cambridge University ESOL and Trinity College GESE and ISE exams. We are an official Trinity centre.

At present there are five teachers and a secretary. The directors of the school also teach in the school. We run in-service training and have an on-going teacher support and observation programme. Some training is run in conjunction with El Centro de Inglés Andujar. You will be working with two highly experienced teachers who will provide support and guidance as well as having access to all the wealth of resources in our staffroom. External teacher training will be funded by the school.

Most timetables begin at 4.00/4.30pm and finish at 9.30pm. On an average day you will be teaching four and a half hours. There are some morning classes but no Saturday classes. We finish at 8pm on a Friday afternoon. There are no weekend classes. An average timetable would be 21-25 contact hours per week and class preparation, administration, teachers´ meetings and teacher training.
