As one of the largest language schools in Seville, the British Institute of Seville welcomes approximately 3500 students per year on a wide range of English courses for both adults and young learners, and currently employs around 45 teachers. The school has a fully stocked library and each classroom is equipped with a IWB and internet connection.
We have three teaching centres, one in the historic centre of the city, one in the south of the city in an area called Los Bermejales and a third one in an area known as Viapol Center, near to the university faculties. The British Institute has also been an Authorised Platinum Centre for Cambridge English Language Assessment Examinations since 1960.
The British Institute of Seville offers a fully comprehensive professional development programme, designed to provide teachers with a personalised training programme. Training opportunities include regular INSETT sessions, on-line seminars, peer observations as well as attending external conferences. We are founder members of EAQUALS, and abide by its strict code of conduct regarding quality standards. We are also members of and ECE (Confederación Española de Centros de Enseñanza) and FECEI (Federación Española de Centros de Enseñanza de Idiomas).
The British Institute of Seville offers both full and part time contracts for our September and October student intakes. Active recruitment usually begins in April for the following September and academic year.
